Day 1. Khiva- Kunye-Urgench-Dashoguz-Ashgabat
Meeting at the Dashoguz border check-point. Transfer to Dashoguz. Lunch. Continue to Kunye-Urgench. Visit Kunye-Urgench historical sightseeings: Kutlug Timur Minaret - 60m height the minaret was built in 1320-1330 by golden horde khan Kutlug Timur. The mausoleum of Nadjm-ad-din Kubra has the cupola floors. They are located one against other & are unique by their architecture. The Turebek-Khanum Mausoleum is connected with wifes name of Urgench governor Kutlug Timur. The Tekesh Mausoleum (1172-1200) is of 0,5 km to the horth-west from the Fakhr-ad-din mausoleum. Mausoleum of Fakhr-ad-din – built in 12-13 centuries. Return drive to Dashoguz. Transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Ashgabat. Arrival to Ashgabat. Transfer & accommodation at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 2. Ashgabat
Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing: National Museum of History & Ethnography-museum has large historical section, which includes Bronse Age, Antiquity & Middle Age sections and very interesting golden exhibits. Old-Nissa-(III c) Parthiandates capital inhabited till the 19c. Lunch at the local restaurant. Sightseeings: Spiritual Mosque of Turkmenbashy – this is one of the largest mosques in Central Asia with highest minarets of 91 m. Turkmen National Carpet museum - this museum has a large, impressive collection of antique carpets, carpet articles (chuvals, khurjuns, torba etc.) and also two first biggest carpets in the world, made in Turkmenistan - 18 m by 11,5 m, total area 192 square meters and 20 by 13 m, 266 square meters. Arch of Neutrality - the arch symbolizes an ancient national symbol of a “great family hearth”. The monument dedicated to the victims of earthquake 1948 – this museum complex contains the collections of terrible tragedy of 1948. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 3. Ashgabat-Mary
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Mary through Kara-Kum desert. En route Anau – is well known by it’s medieval mosque called “Seitjemal-ad-din”. Lunch in desert by the way (picnic). Arrival to Mary and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 4. Mary-Merv
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Merv historical sightseeings: Merv “pearl of east” is one of the oldest inhabited cities of Central Asia. Soltan Sanjar Mausoleum - one of the remarkable works of medieval architects of Turkmenistan. The Ancient Country Margush(XVI-XII BC) - are essentially one and the same country through different chronological eras. Large Kyz Kala-the walls preserved up to 15 meters height.
Return to Mary. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit Mary regional museum - features traditional Turkmen life & culture including displays on weddings & carpet weaving. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.
Day 5. Mary-Turkmenabad-Bukhara
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Turkmenabad. Lunch at the local restaurant. Transfer to Farab border. Customs formalities. Cross the border.
